Getting started
How do I sign in?
Both apps sign you in with Heivol Identity. Tap
Sign in, and you'll authenticate through
id.heivol.com. There's no separate password to manage per app,
and no phone number is required.
I don't have a Heivol account yet
You can create one during sign-in, or visit heivol.com to learn more about Heivol Identity.
Notifications
I'm not receiving notifications
- Check that notifications are enabled for the app in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Notifications; Android: App info → Notifications).
- Make sure you're signed in — push delivery is tied to your signed-in device.
- If you recently reinstalled, open the app once while signed in so it can re-register your device.
Messenger
- Starting a chat: find someone by their email address, or create a group from the conversations screen.
- Attachments: tap the paperclip to send images and files.
- Privacy: you can turn off read receipts and set messages to disappear in a conversation's settings.
Calendar
- Creating events: tap the + on the month grid, set a time, and add reminders.
- Private events: mark an event private to encrypt its details on your device before they reach our servers.
Account & privacy
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Settings → Delete account, and confirm. You can also delete your Heivol account at id.heivol.com. Deletion is permanent and removes your content across Heivol services. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
How is my data handled?
We collect as little as the service needs and don't sell your data. The full breakdown is in our Privacy Policy.
